Jesse Marsch, the manager of Leeds United, has issued a ‘important’ warning ahead of the match against Leicester City.

Leicester City news from LeicestershireLive as Jesse March highlights what his team is missing ahead of a Premier League match.

Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch is hoping his side can rectify one key element when they face Leicester City this evening.

The Whites are winless in their last six games, with recent displays not being sufficient to avoid slipping to 16th place in the table. They fell to a second straight defeat against Arsenal after being unable to convert their chances in the 1-0 defeat at Elland Road, last time out.

Leeds was awarded a penalty to put matters level but Patrick Bamford missed from the spot. Ahead of tonight’s clash at the King Power Stadium, the American has highlighted what is needed from his side as they bid to be more ruthless in the final third.

Marsch said: “Goals. We need more goals! We need more leads, when we are on top of matches we need to capitalize.

“I said that after the match and I think everyone around here knows that that’s where we are right now and if we can add that to the mix then we will have a really good team.

“It should increase our desire to compete in the next game. So that is the focus right now, to ensure that there is no satisfying mentality and that we will do whatever it takes to play well and achieve results.”
