Brendan Rodgers questioned over ‘harsh’ Leicester City omission ahead of Wolves

Leicester City is back in Premier League action against Wolves, hoping to win back-to-back games for the first time this season at Molineux.

Leicester City supporters are suggesting that Denis Praet should have kept his place in midfield to face Wolverhampton Wanderers rather than making way for James Maddison fresh off his one-match suspension.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has made a pair of changes from the team that beat Leeds United in midweek with Patson Daka also coming in for Jamie Vardy, but Praet dropping down to the bench is the real source of frustration. The Belgium international was a standout performer in midweek during a rare start at the King Power Stadium.

City fans are asking why Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall couldn’t have been given a rest instead to allow Maddison to return. Here is a selection of the social media reaction…

Jamie Martin: Incredibly harsh on Praet to miss out here. Obviously, Maddison has to come back in but should be for KDH who hasn’t been brilliant of late and looked absolutely knackered Thursday.
