Leicester City enter the World Cup break having reignited their Premier League season after a poor start that saw them drop to the bottom of the table.
The World Cup break has arguably come at the worst possible time for Leicester City, who have reignited their Premier League campaign with a string of impressive results.
A dismal start to the season saw Leicester hit rock-bottom of the table, as pressure from fans severely increased on boss Brendan Rodgers. However, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has reaped the rewards of standing by the 49-year-old in recent times.
Rodgers and his side have embarked on a run that has included just one defeat in their last seven games across all competitions, including last weekend’s 2-0 triumph over West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Such form has left the club sitting in a position of relative comfort, only five points off Liverpool who occupy sixth place. Improving on last season’s finish of eighth remains a realistic proposition.
Below is a rundown of Leicester’s upcoming fixtures, alongside their rivals, following on from the World Cup. Premier League clubs will take a six-week break ahead of returning to match action on Boxing Day.
