Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, but the Brazil international striker is already being linked with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.
According to Defensa Central, Arsenal striker, Jesus is one of the strikers on Madrid president Florentino Perez’s radar.
Madrid, the La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners last season, is looking for a new striker due to France international Karim Benzema’s ongoing injury problems.
And Jesus is said to be one of Madrid’s favorite strikers.
COULD REAL MADRID SIGN GABRIEL JESUS FROM ARSENAL?
In our view, Real Madrid is unlikely to be able to sign Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal in the January transfer window or even next summer.
There is no way that the Gunners will sell Jesus in the middle of the season even if Madrid offers them more than the £45 million (The Daily Mail) the North London club paid Manchester City for him in the summer of 2022.
After all, Arsenal is five points clear at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and could go on to win the title this season.
What about next summer, you say?
Well, if Arsenal wins the league title or finishes in the Premier League top four, do you really think that they will sell one of their best and most important players?
Now, of course, we know that Madrid is arguably the biggest club in the world and could end up winning the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League again this season, so there is a chance that Jesus could be swayed if Los Blancos come calling.
However, we do not think that Arsenal will sell the 25-year-old.
