The rumor of Antonio Conte’s dismissal grows as the Tottenham manager is warned of a grave error that is convincing Levy to wield the axe.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Tottenham Hotspur intend to make a £44 million bid for Dusan Vlahovic, with Japhet Tanganga joining Juventus in the summer.

Vlahovic has had a difficult time since joining Juventus a year ago. While at Fiorentina, he established himself as one of the most exciting young players in the league. But nothing has clicked since he joined the Old Lady.

And it seems that Juve is open to letting him go, wanting up to £96.3 million for the Serbia international. And it could be Tottenham who makes a move for the forward.

Tottenham planning summer bid for Vlahovic

The same outlet reported on Wednesday that Antonio Conte could leave Spurs for Juve in the summer. However, Calciomercatoweb is now suggesting that it may be another member of the Tottenham squad who heads to Turin.

Calciomercatoweb claims that Spurs could offer Tanganga in a player-plus-cash bid for Vlahovic. The defender has been a peripheral figure under Conte. So it would be no surprise to see the 23-year-old leave in some capacity sooner or later.

Tottenham is looking to pay £44 million. But it is suggested that Juventus want more as a fee – which is hardly surprising given how highly they value Vlahovic.

It is exciting that Tottenham is looking at Vlahovic. However, the report suggests that there are concerns over the future of Harry Kane. So it would be bittersweet if Spurs had reason to pursue the 22-year-old.

But he would be an excellent signing. He is a ‘ridiculous‘ talent. And he has already scored 57 goals in Serie A at this stage of his career.

Tottenham fans will hope that they have no reason to try and find a replacement for Kane. But Vlahovic would be the kind of player many Spurs fans would want if they did lose their talisman.
