PSG CONCERNED ONLY ABOUT A KEY PLAYER FITNESS AHEAD OF BAYERN MUNICH CLASH

According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain are still concerned about the fitness of Neymar and Presnel Kimpembe ahead of next month’s Champions League knockout tie against Bayern Munich.

The club is unsure how long the Brazilian will need to recover from the ankle injury he sustained during the World Cup; while he has returned to action, the forward is still some way off the form he displayed in the first half of the season when he scored 15 goals and assisted on 13 others.

Kimpembe’s Achilles injury, meanwhile, has come after a number of years during which the French international felt some pain in that area, with Christophe Galtier indicating the Frenchman was still eight to ten days away from coming back to training. With Nordic Mukiele also set to be out of action for the match against the Bundesliga side, the manager will be hoping Achraf Hakimi can stay fit throughout the next few weeks.
