Tottenham have agreed a fee with Chelsea for the 19-year-old wonderkid and are offering a “clear pathway to the first team.”

Tottenham Hotspur has ‘agreed on a fee’ to sign Chelsea Under-21s forward Jude Soonsup-Bell, beating out Manchester City in the process.

The 19-year-old is highly regarded in their academy but is nearing the end of his contract.

According to the Evening Standard, Soonsup-Bell will move across London to Spurs, who have offered him a “long-term pathway to the first team via loans beginning next season.”

According to the report, Man City and some clubs outside of the UK made similar offers to Soonsup-Bell.

Soonsup-Bell has made one senior appearance for Chelsea, appearing for 45 minutes in a Carabao Cup victory over Brentford in December 2021.

He’ll be joining a struggling team, with Spurs U21s currently sitting second last in Premier League 2.

Chelsea has been very active in the transfer market this month, making seven signings, and talkSPORT understands they are close to finalizing the signing of Argentina and Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

However, it is possible that more young players will leave Cobham this season due to concerns about ‘around a dozen other youngsters.’

The Evening Standard reports that 18-year-old midfielder Charlie Webster has rejected interest from Borussia Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven’.

Fellow academy stars Malik Mothersille and Dion Rankine are also expected to stay with the Blues.
