Chelsea’s chances of signing Mbappe and two other PSG stars are ruined following Ziyech’s’shambles.’

Chelsea’s relationship with Paris Saint-Germain may be permanently harmed.

Chelsea may pay the price for endangering their working relationship with PSG after a last-minute loan move for Hakim Ziyech fell through on transfer deadline day. The Ligue 1 giants are said to be furious at how things turned out, as the Blues failed to submit the necessary documents on time.

Ziyech was rumored to be desperate to join PSG after his chances at Chelsea looked bleak. Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk had joined an already competitive group of wingers, prompting the Moroccan to seize the opportunity to move on.

He was all set to join PSG on loan for the rest of the season after traveling to France and passing his medical, but Chelsea sent over incorrect paperwork twice. The deadline had already passed by the time the Blues sent over a corrected version, rendering Ziyech’s move impossible.

According to a Sky Sports source, PSG could cut professional ties with Chelsea completely over the saga, which was described as a ‘shambles’. With the fallout from Chelsea’s blunder looming, Express Sport looks at three players who may be out of reach in the transfer market…

Antoine Mbappe
The flying forward has more than two years left on his mega-money PSG contract, but he has previously flirted with leaving, and rumors of discontent earlier this season only fueled speculation that he could soon move on to greener pastures.

With a price tag of £160 million, there aren’t many clubs in the world that could even consider making an offer for Mbappe, but Todd Boehly’s free-spending Chelsea is certainly one of them. Until deadline day, that is, because the Blues’ gaffe may have cost them a chance to sign the 24-year-old, who has 35 goals in 37 games for club and country this season.
