Manchester United is set to win the race for teenage forward Gabriele Biancheri, who has already undergone a medical, according to Fabrizio Romano.

THE DETAILS: GARNACHO’S SUCCESS
Alejandro Garnacho has become the latest Red Devils academy product to break through to the first team.

This season, the Argentine has made 24 senior appearances for Erik ten Hag, scoring eight goals. Garnacho had previously played for the club’s U18s and U21s, and it appears that the academy will have a new attacking player to develop in Biancheri.

THE MOST RECENT: TRANSFER UPDATE
On Saturday morning, Romano took to Twitter to provide an update on Biancheri. The player has confirmed he is leaving Cardiff for Manchester and has already completed medical tests ahead of a proposed move to Carrington, according to the transfer expert, with United set to beat out a number of English clubs for Biancheri’s services.

“Talented 2006-born striker Gabriele Biancheri has confirmed he’s leaving Cardiff City – deal completed to join Manchester United academy. Medical tests have already been completed, and a four-year contract has been signed as Manchester United defeats 2-3 English clubs.”

The 16-year-old is primarily a center-forward but can play anywhere across the front three and is known for his pace. The Sun has also labeled him as a ‘wonderkid’, so he could well be a potential star in the making.
