Summer transfer window coming to an end, Liverpool are still tipped for new arrivals

Despite the summer transfer window soon coming to an end, Liverpool are still tipped for new arrivals. The Reds have signed French centre-back Ibrahima Konaté to strengthen their defensive options.

However, the 22-year-olds inclusion is the only one with no other incomings this summer.

Not only this but a number of players have been sold from the club with no replacements on the way as of yet.

The likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Xherdan Shaqiri, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic have all left the Reds.

Recent reports from the Liverpool Echo have now highlighted the possible late arrivals this summer. One of which, they described would come in the form of Ajax wonderkid Ryan Gravenberc.

As cited by Anfield Watch above, any late arrivals in this window would be players with potential and growth.

It is clear that Gravenberch is a player with this potential given his incredible rise at Ajax.

At just 19-years-old, the Dutchman has become an integral part of Ajax’s midfield over the last few seasons.

Gravenberch made his debut back in 2018 at the age of just 16, with him showing incredible maturity.

The Reds have been linked in the past with a move for the teenager, with him attracting plenty of attention.

It had been revealed that the club were big fans of the midfielder like many other clubs across Europe.

If the Reds were to make a move before the end of the window then it would come at a costly price.

With a current market value of £29.7million, Gravenberch would be a huge investment.

There are no concrete links as of yet but there is no denying that he would be a fantastic addition to the Reds.
