Chelsea have arrived in Turin, Italy a few hours ago, ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage clash against Juventus, having brought just 21 players. That means we won’t be naming a full complement of twelve substitutes, but it also means that the eight non-goalkeepers on the bench should all have a good chance of playing (can use five in European competitions).

Our numbers are somewhat light because of the ongoing injury issues with Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount, plus Reece James’s ankle problem. N’Golo Kanté’s is also out until after the international break now, after testing positive for COVID-19.

As confirmed by the Chelsea official website, we did not bring along any of our B-team-eligible players, such as Harvey Vale or Xavier Mbuyamba. The full 21-man squad available for tomorrow’s game is as follows:

GOALKEEPERS: Kepa, Bettinelli, Mendy

DEFENDERS: Rüdiger, Christensen, Silva, Chalobah, Sarr, Alonso, Chilwell, Azpilicueta

MIDFIELDERS: Jorginho, Kovačić, Loftus-Cheek, Saúl, Barkley

FORWARDS: Lukaku, Werner, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Havertz
