Paul Pogba has delivered a message to Manchester United fans amid constant speculation over his future.
Having progressed through the famed Old Trafford academy, Pogba re-signed for United from Juventus in 2016 but now he’s entering the final six months of his contract.
Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola have so far rejected United’s offers of an extended deal, with his current one due to expire in June 2022. It means the midfielder’s future is very much in doubt. He is free to negotiate with clubs overseas from tomorrow (January 1st) with a view to making a free transfer in the summer.
But should the 28-year-old decide to run down his deal, United have one final chance to cash-in on Pogba during the January transfer window; although the Frenchman has offered up a hint towards the future by posting a video on social media platform Twitter.
In a short clip that featured his 2021 goals for club and country, Pogba said: “A year of ups and downs, good and bad moments, but one thing has remained the same; your full and genuine support.
Having started the season in blistering fashion with four assists against Leeds, the former Juventus man saw his impact dwindle before picking up an injury while on international duty with France.
