Manchester United ready to agree huge £26million a year terms with OT star

Paul Pogba left Manchester United on a free transfer back when Alex Ferguson was in charge of the club. He became a superstar at Juventus and then the Red Devils broke their transfer record to bring him back.

As things stand, the player’s current deal at Old Trafford will expire in the summer and he could once again leave the club on a bosman.

The Sun have exclusively revealed that to avoid such a transfer again, Man Utd are ready to agree a huge deal that will make the Les Bleus midfielder earn £26million a year (£500,000 a week).

The British news source have mentioned that the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain are after the Old Trafford star and therefore, United have offered terms to make him the highest-paid player ever in the Premier League.

Pogba has always performed brilliantly for the national side, he was a key member of the squad that won the World Cup in 2018 and the UEFA Nations League last year under the management of Didier Deschamps. However, for Man Utd, the 28-year-old has been highly inconsistent.

Moreover, in the past couple of years, the Frenchman has spent a lot of time on the treatment table. He is currently out with a hamstring injury and has not played for the club since November 2021.

The 89-capped international is already earning a high salary of £290,000 a week (The Sun). Do you think, he deserves a massive pay rise to become the best-paid Man Utd player?
