Manchester United have been linked with Ousmane Dembele for months and the latest reports going on in the media are intriguing.
Last month, reports in Spain claimed that the Red Devils have sent a strong offer to hire the services of the French international, who currently earns around 20 million euros annually i.e. £17million a year (Sport – ABC).
As per the latest update provided by Mundo Deportivo today (press image provided below), the Les Bleus attacker is close to leaving Barca after a breakdown in contract renewal talks.
It is stated that Dembele’s agent, Sissoko, is unhappy with the proposal put forward by the Catalan giants but it is not just about the money. He has also criticized the management of Xavi Hernandez. The representative stated:
“We talk about money a lot when it comes to the renovation of Ousmane, but it is not just a question of money. Also of day-to-day management. This sports management with this return to play without training, just after the Covid, it becomes really difficult for us “
MD claim that Dembele wants to move to PL, Manchester United are interested and could secure his signing. Earlier this month, Sport reported that the Old Trafford outfit are prepared to sign the player in the winter transfer window.
Man Utd would not need to pay a huge fee to sign the World Champion this month taking into consideration that his contract at the Nou Camp will expire in just six months.
