“LIVERPOOL LIKE HIM”: NEIL JONES CONFIRMS THAT THE REDS ARE INTERESTED IN £6,240,000 PLAYER

Journalist Neil Jones has confirmed that Liverpool are interested in signing Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka.

The Reds have recently been linked with a move for the 20-year-old.

With that being the case, the Redmen TV asked Jones about Liverpool’s reported interest in Saka.

The journalist made it clear that the club “like” the Englishman as a player.

Jones said the following: “Liverpool like him. I think that goes back to when he was in the youth team at Arsenal. He’s a brilliant player. That first leg he played at Anfield [EFL Cup semi-final] was some performance. He really impressed a lot of people, a lot of Liverpool fans, I’m sure, that night. If he’s out of contract at Arsenal then, of course, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, every club in Europe will be looking at it.

“They [Arsenal] really do need to get into the Champions League this summer. If they did, they would make a big push to bring in a few players that could take them to the next level. If they don’t do that, it suddenly becomes a bit of a Harry Kane situation – ‘he’s one of our own’, but how long is he going to sit and scratch around the Europa Conference League? Not dissimilar to Raheem Sterling at Liverpool.”

We are delighted to hear that Liverpool rate Saka as a player. We would love to see the club make a move for the Englishman.

Saka is having a good season for Arsenal. The winger has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 26 appearances.

Despite only being 20 years of age, Saka has already made 14 appearances for England’s senior side.

The youngster is a very promising player. Therefore, Hopefully Saka and Liverpool cross paths at some stage in the near future. The England international is contracted until the summer of 2024. Transfermarkt value Saka at €65 million.
