Deeney said about Nketiah: “I thought he was excellent today. I thought he did everything, and a lot of the chances that he created were his own doing.”

The former Watford striker added: “I just thought he grew in the game. He showed a level of maturity that I didn’t really know he had in his game at this moment.

In our opinion, Nketiah played well for Arsenal against West Ham at London Stadium.

The striker worked hard to win the ball, tried to score from good positions, and linked up play well.

Nketiah took six shots of which four were on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 71.4%, won two headers, took 51 touches, and attempted four dribbles.

The striker is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see if he puts pen to paper on a new deal.

What is clear now is that for Arsenal to finish in the Champions League places in the Premier League table this season, Nketiah will play a big role.
