Fabio Vieira is new addition for Arsenal, and according to Jose Fonte, the team should be “extremely pleased” about him because he “can produce at the greatest level.”
The Premier League club agreed to pay Porto price that might increase to €40m in order to finalize the signing of Vieira on Tuesday.
I’m happy, of course,” Vieira said on the club’s official website after joining Arsenal.
In terms of my career, this is significant advancement.

I’m thrilled to be here at my new home because Arsenal is a sizable and illustrious club. I believe it to be the best career move. I don’t regret doing that because I believe it will be really beneficial for me. I’m ecstatic to be here.

As a “really brilliant” midfielder, Vieira, according to former Premier League defender Fonte, will be a star for Arsenal.

“He’s a really exciting young guy who is very talented on the ball and intelligent,” Fonte said to talkSPORT.

“He’s the kind of player that Arsenal fans would like, and I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Premier League,” said one fan of the club.

He plays for Porto and had fantastic season for Porto, who were competing in European competitions, Fonte said about his fellow Portuguese citizen.
“You are ready for anything if he can perform in the Champions League and at the greatest level.
He can certainly take care of himself because the Premier League is the best league in the world, but the Champions League is not far
behind.

Vieira was named player of the tournament in the European Under-21 Championship in 2017, despite not having yet represented Portugal’s senior team.
When asked if Vieira might start right away for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta, Fonte said, “I think so, sure.”

They are acquiring player who, if you looked at him going back four or five years, you’d wonder if this player would work in the Premier League, according to European football analyst Andy Brassell.

“Despite not always being starter last season, he is not huge person with terrific balance, grace, and wonderful eye for pass. He also had 16 assists, which is quite amazing.

“The possibility exists at all times.
Eddie Howe, Richard Hughes, and the Bournemouth recruitment team were all highly interested in him few years back, but Porto refused to sell. It turns out that they were smart to hold out for him because they were able to receive much more money later on once he made progress.
should fit them incredibly well.
