Regarding a 24-year-old player with links to other clubs, Arsenal has set a €40 million asking price.

Gabriel Magalhaes’ asking price has been set at €40 million by Arsenal, despite rumors that Juventus want to sign the defender.

Last season, Gabriel was essential in helping Arsenal achieve their goal of playing in Europe. The Brazilian has started more Premier League games than anybody else, including Bukayo Saka, so it would be challenging to replace the 24-year-old.

However, Gabriel might again be available for the appropriate price now that William Saliba has returned from a loan stint at Marseille.

If Juventus sells Matthijs de Ligt this summer, Gabriel will be their top target, according Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia). The defender is supposedly available at around €40 million, but Arsenal would prefer to hang onto him for the upcoming campaign.

Cashing in on Gabriel and generating money wouldn’t be the worst idea if Saliba can join and quickly adjust to Premier League play. Saliba, who is only 21 years old, dominated the French league last season, earning himself a call-up to the French national squad.

The young defender at Arsenal wasn’t initially given a chance, but there’s a significant chance he’ll make it into the starting lineup the next year.
