Liverpool manager Klopp is prepared to “spend whatever it takes” to pursue a South American star.

Federico Valverde of Real Madrid might potentially join Liverpool, according to Jurgen Klopp.
According to reports, Federico Valverde, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is “waiting” for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

The German allegedly left the door open for the Uruguayan’s potential transfer to Anfield, according to Spanish publication Nacional, via football365.com (h/t Mirror).

The 24-year-old midfielder is reportedly the object of Klopp’s “obsession,” and Liverpool is prepared to “spend whatever it takes” to lure him to Merseyside.

Considering the Uruguayan’s 24-year-old relationship with Carlo Ancellotti, the manager is “convinced” that the player will eventually transfer to Anfield. Given that the midfielder is not a lock to start against the Bernabeu, Klopp has “kept the door wide open for him.”

A dynamic and adaptable midfielder, Valverde. Liverpool has firsthand knowledge of the Uruguayan’s abilities. In the Champions League final, the 24-year-old assisted Vinicius Junior on his game-winning goal.

Liverpool’s midfield is quite strong.
Currently, our midfield features some of the top players in the world. Thiago Alcantara has demonstrated his skills in elite sides across Europe. The 31-year-old, who joined from Bayern Munich two seasons ago, has contributed in the park’s middle.

For a while now, Fabinho has been among the Premier League’s top defensive midfielders. The Brazilian, who joined from Monaco in 2018, required time to adjust but has subsequently become Klopp’s first choice for the starting lineup.

The other crucial players in the starting XI are Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita. They both significantly contributed to our quest for the quadruple last season. After having difficulty in previous campaigns, the Guinean appears to have adapted to his position.

James Milner, a veteran, and a number of young players are also on hand for Liverpool as backups. It will be interesting to observe how the German organizes the Reds for the upcoming campaign.
