Check out what Manchester City is thinking about Juventus trades Ilkay Gundogan and Arthur.

Manchester City is reportedly considering a swap deal with Juventus involving Ilkay Gundogan and Arthur.
Arsenal has been linked with Arthur all summer, but City may be set to beat the Gunners to his signature.

The Premier League champions are considering a deal with Juventus that would see Gundogan and Arthur swap clubs, according to Calciomercato, via the Mirror.

Gundogan’s playing time may be reduced this season as a result of the arrival of Kalvin Phillips, and with his contract set to expire next summer, City wants to avoid a situation in which the Germany international leaves on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Arthur was part of a swap deal with Miralem Pjanic that saw him leave Barcelona for Juventus, but he is set to leave Turin this summer after making only 11 Serie A starts last season.

The city may be able to beat Arsenal to the Brazilian international if they are willing to let Gundogan move in the opposite direction.
