Tottenham Hotspur has recently been linked with Leeds United midfielder Jack Harrison.

Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas claimed last week that Spurs are still interested in the Elland Road winger.

Tottenham was interested in Harrison, according to Thomas, and it appears that they are still interested.

However, the Spurs would have to pay a huge amount of money if they wanted the Whites attacker.

Leeds reportedly values Harrison at more than £60million.

Not surprisingly really – the 25-year-old has enjoyed a wonderful start to the season.

Harrison registered one goal and three assists in Leeds’ opening three games of the Premier League campaign.

He didn’t have as much joy at the weekend against Brighton, but he nonetheless display his usual high work rate.

And on Tuesday night, Harrison once again showed flashes of quality as Leeds drew 1-1 with Everton at Elland Road.

BBC Sport journalist Alistair Magowan loved what he saw from the £60,000-a-week star.

“Tell you what, Jack Harrison is a hell of a player,” he said, as per the BBC Sport match feed (30/8, 21:37).

“He’s giving Nathan Patterson a torrid time.

“Although the Scottish international has played well, he’s just never been given rest in this second half.

“Great game now. Both sides just missing a finisher.”

Admittedly, it would be a huge statement if Tottenham made a bid Leeds were willing to accept.

But as things stand, that scenario seems highly unlikely.
