Brentford and Arsenal are set to resume Premier League action tomorrow after all games were postponed last weekend due to the death of The Queen.
The Gunners have started the season brilliantly, winning four of their first four fixtures, but they will remember their last visit to the Brentford Community Stadium with dread.
The two teams met on the opening day of the 2021/22 campaign in the Bees’ first ever Premier League match and the hosts went on to claim a shock 2-0 win over Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, Arsenal’s recent form will give them plenty of confidence – as well as the return of a key man to their midfield.
Here is the predicted line-ups of Arsenal ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
Arsenal
GK – Aaron Ramsdale
The England international continues to be Arsenal’s number one in between the sticks.
RB – Ben White
Ben White has been brilliant at right-back this season, with Takehiro Tomiyasu remaining on the bench.
CB – William Saliba
The Frenchman has been excellent for Arsenal in what is proving to be a breakthrough campaign for him.
CB – Gabriel
Gabriel is another member of a young backline that has performed very well this season.
LB – Kieran Tierney
Oleksandar Zinchenko is once again sidelined with a calf injury so Kieran Tierney will return to the line-up.
CM – Thomas Partey
Thomas Partey has been out injured since Arsenal’s win over Bournemouth last month but could return to the fold this weekend.
CM – Xhaka
Xhaka has looked very comfortable in the Gunners’ midfield this season and has been a key figure in their positive start.
CAM – Martin Odegaard
Martin Odegaard looks to be at his very best this season – scoring three goals in the Premier League.
RW – Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka has three goal contributions in the Premier League this season and remains irreplaceable in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
LW – Gabriel Martinelli
The Brazilian has shone over the past couple of months and is combining very well with the likes of Odegaard and Saka.
ST – Gabriel Jesus
The former Man City striker has really hit the ground running since joining Arsenal and will look to bag his fourth goal in six matches tomorrow.
