Leicester is the best in Europe in one specific area, and a priority must be established to single out more.

Leicester is said to have the best training facilities in Europe, but that hasn’t helped the club so far this season, with their first win coming in their eighth game.

The infrastructure is required to become a major club, and seeing the stadium expansion plans come to fruition adds to the excitement.

Having a grand training ground as well as a top stadium is obviously important when developing a strong club for Premier League experiences season after season.

Since returning to the top flight in 2014 after 10 years out, Leicester has also been a good developer of young homegrown talent, but still not up there among the best.

To develop players by taking steps from one level to another is the way to work and get them into the top flight and identify what type of qualities the player you bring in do take with him.

Harvey Barnes, Ben Chilwell, Luke Thomas, Hamza Choudhury, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are all players nursed forward through the academy. Calvin Bassey was on slipping through the net without being able to connect him to the club in a way that made his presence show.

The signings of James Maddison, James Justin, Harry Maguire, and Wesley Fofana are recent examples of great moves in the market to identify those great assets that did see them take the next level with a storm coming in from being unknown to the league or having just a bit of experience without any of the major top clubs taking much notice.

Looking at the current group of young players in the U.21 set up they are among the top clubs, but still a bit below the very top and it will be important going forward to probably invest more to get the players needed coming through and being best in Europe regarding nursing forward your own talent as well as being clever in the market to sign players that have the ability to grow.
