By defeating Liverpool on Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur will move 13 points clear in the Premier League.
They will, however, be without star forward Heung-min Son, who scored in both league games against Liverpool last weekend, after the South Korean forward suffered a fractured eye socket in their 2-1 Champions League win over Marseille in midweek.
Meanwhile, the Reds will regard this as a crucial match because they do not want to fall so far behind the division’s top three teams by suffering a third consecutive league defeat.
