Tottenham’s star is still the club’s “top candidate” for a transfer, and he “will go for it” if Spurs open the door.

Bayern Munich will make a move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane if Spurs allow a transfer.

According to Sport BILD journalist Christian Falk, the German giants continue to have Kane on their list of potential targets.

The Tottenham star has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern for the last few years, particularly when it became apparent Robert Lewandowski would be departing Bavaria.

The Polish striker eventually left for Barcelona in the summer and Kane has linked again but Bayern instead elected to not sign a central striker and bring in Sadio Mane instead.

That’s an experiment that hasn’t worked out and they continue to be linked with a move forward next summer.

Kane remains on the list, particularly as his current contract is set to expire in 2024, meaning Tottenham could be forced to sell next summer if he doesn’t sign an extension.

That’s a situation Bayern will be keeping an eye on, with Falk reporting Kane remains on their list of targets to explore.

“Bayern still have him on their list as a top candidate. But the club is not really sure whether they will get him,” he told his Bayern Insider podcast, relayed by FCB Inside.

“If he comes on the market, then they will go for it. But we can’t say that at the moment. The talks haven’t started yet. But they definitely want to push that for the new year.”
