Tottenham are watching World Cup winger very closely, may remind fans of Kulusevski

Tottenham is interested in Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen, who is currently representing Denmark at the World Cup in Qatar.

Spurs will scout a number of players in Qatar in the hopes of luring them to the Premier League in 2023.

Fabio Paratici is in charge of finding new talent, and another winger is undoubtedly on his radar.

Lucas Moura’s time at Tottenham looks to be coming to an end and it has been fairly clear that Antonio Conte doesn’t quite trust Bryan Gil for a big role.

TOTTENHAM IS EYEING ANDREAS SKOV OLSEN

The latest name in the mix for Tottenham is Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen.

Het Nieuwsblad in Belgium reports that Tottenham is interested in Skov Olsen and is watching him at the World Cup.

It’s stated that Tottenham’s interest in Skov Olsen is ‘already concrete’ and the winger is aware of Spurs scouting him in Qatar.

Tottenham hasn’t yet made an offer to Club Brugge but if he impresses Paratici, a bid may well be on the horizon.

Skov Olsen, 22, started against Tunisia on Tuesday afternoon but couldn’t prevent a 0-0 draw for Denmark.

The Danes were beaten 2-1 by France on Saturday evening and Skov Olsen not only didn’t start, but he didn’t even make it off the bench.

That’s far from ideal for Tottenham and their plans to scout the winger in action, but his club form has been strong.

Six goals and three assists in 15 league games for Club Brugge is a decent record and Paratici may be aware of him after spending two-and-a-half years at Bologna in Italy.

A relatively tall, Scandinavian winger who predominantly plays on the right flank and loves to cut in on his left side… does that sound familiar to anyone?

Tottenham needs to find some cover and competition for Dejan Kulusevski and may see Skov Olsen as being cut from a similar cloth.

That comparison is certainly interesting and Tottenham will hope to see Skov Olsen in World Cup action again ahead of the January window.
