After Burnley’s horror show, Man United supporters don’t want Martin Dubravka to play for a team again.

After a disaster in goal against Burnley, Manchester United supporters are hoping Martin Dubravka has played his last game for the team.

Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford each scored once as United prevailed 2-0, with the latter scoring an incredible solo goal to advance to the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.

It wasn’t all good, though; Dubravka, the backup goalkeeper, had a terrible night in the net and was fortunate to preserve a spotless record.

With David de Gea and Tom Heaton vying for the starting goalie position, United has taken on the Slovakian on loan from Newcastle United, where he has played 130 times.

He made his Carabao Cup debut against Aston Villa in the previous round, but on Wednesday night, he occasionally appeared as though he had never played in goal before.

The 33-year-old, who always plays out from the back when under pressure, came dangerously close to scoring TWO own goals.

He significantly mishandled a cross from the right in the 35th minute, and after Marcus Rashford deflected it, Dubravka palmed the ball back toward his own goal.

Thankfully, Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka both re-entered the game to make a save.

He then reacted quickly to stop the ball from going in, but if you’re a United fan, it wasn’t particularly encouraging. Many people want him to return to Newcastle in January and don’t think he should ever wear a United jersey again.

Martin Dubravka has done everything in his power to ensure that he doesn’t play another minute for Man Utd’s first team for the remainder of his contract, according to another.
