Forget Bellingham, a £66 million striker for Liverpool could change the game, in our opinion.

Now that I’ve said that, Liverpool may want to start considering adding at least one new striker in January.

Not because Darwin Nunez is bad, which he isn’t; rather, it’s because they really need more help.

The Uruguayan international did significantly struggle in Thursday’s Carabao Cup loss to Manchester City for Liverpool.

And now that Roberto Firmino has joined Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota on the sidelines, only Mohamed Salah can really provide goals for the Reds, and even he hasn’t been on this year.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Liverpool should make a major effort to sign Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.

Although Jurgen Klopp needs midfielders as well, the Reds are obviously supposed to be saving for Jude Bellingham and have enough of them to last until next summer.

However, given that Diaz and Jota are both out until March, he lacks sufficient firepower up front.

Klopp should definitely make a move for Vlahovic, a £66 million acquisition by Juve last January [Sky Sports] who are willing to leave the Serie A team.

Yes, it is a lot of money, especially after spending £85 million on Nunez, a striker.

The South American can play out on the left, despite the fact that he is primarily a number nine, which frees up space for a new player to

go through the middle.

There is a lot of fantasy football surrounding transfers at this time of year, but Liverpool really needs another nine players, and since Vlahovic is willing to leave Juventus, why not?
