After a strong performance, Rashford refers to his Manchester United teammate as ‘The Rock.’

Casemiro opened the scoring for Manchester United as the Red Devils beat Bournemouth 3-0 at Old Trafford last night.

Supporters voted Casemiro as man of the match and his teammates were impressed too.

Fellow goalscorer Marcus Rashford praised the Brazilian after the match along with Tyrell Malacia and Alejandro Garnacho.

All three responded to Casemiro’s message on Instagram following Manchester United’s victory.

Casemiro prevails once more.
Casemiro followed up his early goal with an outstanding display as Manchester United cruised to another win.

The former Real Madrid midfielder has provided the leadership and guidance that United’s midfield has lacked for years.

Marcus Rashford dubbed Casemiro ‘The Rock’ following his most recent performance.

Either a parallel to the WWE star turned actor or a literal ‘rock’ works. Casemiro is a commanding and intimidating presence in Manchester United’s midfield.

Like movie star The Rock, Casemiro is said to be at home off the pitch when he is in the gym.

A source told the Daily Star earlier this season, “He’s not the biggest guy in the world but he’s as strong as an ox and can push 300kg with his eyes shut.”

The Mirror reported: “Ccontacts at Real Madrid had already alluded to the midfielder’s penchant for lifting weights as early as 8am during his time in the Spanish capital.

“A United employee was sent to film a walkthrough of the gym facilities available at the club’s Carrington training base after Casemiro requested an oversight of what was on offer.”

Casemiro is currently making Manchester United’s pitch his workout area, helping the team to win after win, with clean sheets. Long may it continue.
