The player has ‘already said goodbye’ to Leicester and has ‘bags packed’ to complete the transfer.

According to Marca, Real Betis has reached an agreement with Leicester City’s Ayoze Pérez to join them in the winter market.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the 29-year-old did not entertain other clubs after the La Liga club came forward to sign him. His contract with the Foxes expires in June, and he’s ‘already said goodbye’ to them.

The Spaniard is waiting for Manuel Pellegrini’s side to release Loren and/or Diego Lainez in order to register him.

Estadio Deportivo, like Marca, makes no mention of the agreement Betis will reach with the Premier League club. Today’s ABC de Sevilla provides this information.

Pérez will join Betis on loan until the end of the season. Leicester has stated that the attacker’s transfer will be made as easy as possible for both parties and that no loan fee will be requested. This will allow them to save money on his salary, and he will have to accept a significant pay cut in order to join the Spanish club.

The player has “completed the entire process” with Leicester in order to join the La Liga club.

Pérez is in England with his ‘bags packed’ for a move to Betis. His arrival is contingent on them releasing some of their players, which is required to register the attacker.

Loren is the leading candidate, but Lainez has a good offer from Tigres.

With all parties in favor of the operation, Pérez will be able to join Betis once one or more of their players are released.
