Tottenham has  move to sign a ‘world-class’ 6 ft 3 star wanted by

According to a report, Tottenham Hotspur could make a summer move for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.

THE DETAILS: THURAM IS AVAILABLE
Thuram’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport that he will ‘100%’ choose not to extend his stay, implying that he will be available for transfer in the summer.

Tottenham, however, will face stiff competition if they want to sign the forward, as Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Chelsea have all made contact with his agent.

Tottenham is one of the Premier League clubs interested in the 25-year-old, according to CalcioMercato, though Newcastle is said to be leading the race.

There is now said to be interested in the 6 foot 3 Frenchman from all over Europe, with Inter Milan named as a potential suitor, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schafer has described the Parma-born marksman as “world-class,” and he has been in excellent form in the Bundesliga this season, scoring twice and assisting once.

Thuram’s goal return puts him among the top scorers in the German Bundesliga, and he also excels at dribbling, ranking in the 92nd percentile for successful take-ons per 90 in the past year, averaging 1.55.

However, Spurs already have Harry Kane available as a striker, so enticing Thuram into a move may be difficult, as he knows he would be playing second fiddle to the England captain, who recently became the club’s all-time top scorer.

With Kane reportedly doubting his future in north London, Thuram would be a fantastic signing if Tottenham is forced to sell the Englishman this summer; otherwise, given the level of interest from other top clubs, they are unlikely to be able to sign him.
