Leeds United attacker Rodrigo may reportedly have suffered another injury concern as he was appearing to have some issues with his left ankle.
The Athletic journalist Phil Hay who was in attendance as the Whites beat the Wolves 4-2, noticed him limping during the game.
The Spain international only just got himself back to full fitness and came off the bench to score a goal for the Whites as well.
Hay wrote on Twitter, “Rodrigo looks like he’s done something to his left ankle. Limping heavily, seemed to go down as a high ball came to him.”
He’s been out for a while and he was a big miss as he was the club’s best attacker this season and they lacked firepower in the final third.
Patrick Bamford’s proven to be unreliable when it comes to his fitness and Georginio Rutter is struggling to make that spot his own.
Rodrigo is a proven goal scorer and he showed just how good he is by finding the back of the net yet again at the death.
Hopefully, his injury is not too serious and he returns for Leeds right after the international break as he’s bound to start if he’s available.
He’s also not picked by Spain so he can use these next two weeks to recuperate and get himself ready for the matches ahead.
