Finance Expert: 49ers agree with Radrizzani as Leeds fans left angry by latest news

We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr. Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...

Dan Plumley has insisted that the 49ers Enterprises will have been consulted by Leeds United over their decision to increase season ticket prices at Elland Road.

The finance expert admitted that the American consortium will have agreed with Andrea Radrizzani and his team due to the increase being announced.

Leeds fans were not happy with the announcement and 10% increase, with the team still battling relegation on the pitch in the Premier League.

“I think they will have absolutely been consulted on it,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“I think if they’re going to take control and they will be the one who all the decision-making goes through so they will have had some input this for sure, so it won’t be something that they will not have seen.

“Everything is intertwined in football, so it will be connected to the takeover and their plans for the future.

“For me, they will have absolutely been consulted and obviously, appear to be in agreement with the decision, hence the fact that it has gone through.”

Leeds has one of the most loyalist groups of fans anywhere in the world, and now it appears as though that is being used against them in a bid to get more money.

No one would argue if the quality had gone up on the pitch, but after selling Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, that did not happen with the same struggles still apparent.

With a huge waiting list, this will not affect sales, but that is not the point – Radrizzani has signed off on this and will be out of the building most likely before next season starts.
