Mark Lawrenson makes ‘upsurge’ remark in Leicester City vs Fulham prediction

The latest Leicester City news from LeicestershireLive brings you Mark Lawrenson’s prediction ahead of the Premier League clash with Fulham

Leicester City are faced with another massive clash when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Bank Holiday Monday (3 pm).

Dean Smith’s side will head to the capital on the back of two successive draws to relegation rivals Leeds United and Everton respectively. The city is just outside the relegation zone level on 30 points with 18th-placed Nottingham Forest.

A victory against the Whites would bring confidence to the Foxes ahead of fixtures against Liverpool, Newcastle, and West Ham on the final day. As for Fulham, they are winless in their last three games as they target a top-10 finish.
Ahead of the encounter, Mark Lawrenson has delivered his verdict, predicting City to fall short in a 2-1 defeat. “Fulham have done very well this season, and have some good players who other clubs will want,” Lawrenson wrote in his Paddy Power column.

“They’re a big, formidable team too and I like the way they play. Joao Palhinha in particular impressed me against Liverpool and I think a lot of clubs would take him in a heartbeat if they got the chance.

“Leicester have had a bit of an upsurge with their new management structure recently. They probably thought at 2-1 up against Everton that they were going to get a vital three points, but it wasn’t to be and they only drew.
