Report: West Ham could lose £26 million star by June 1st if club make concrete offer

The window could still be open for Nikola Vlasic to make a surprise return to West Ham United in the summer.

According to a report from Toro News, Torino had better act fast if they want to sign Nikola Vlasic on a permanent deal.

West Ham door could still be open after fresh Nikola Vlasic claim

Torino can sign the 25-year-old from the Hammers for just £11 million, but the Italian outfit is still unsure whether or not to pull the trigger.

David Moyes brought the Croatian international to the London Stadium from CSKA Moscow back in the summer of 2021 for around £26 million (Sky Sports).

He flattered to deceive in a West Ham shirt though – mostly because he was never actually played in the correct position! And the attacking midfielder was moved on to Torino on loan. Whether he joins them permanently this summer remains up in the air though…

Nikola Vlasic could still stay at West Ham

According to a report from Toro News, if Torino doesn’t activate their £11 million purchase option by June 1st, said option will expire.

And then there will of course be a chance that the Croatian returns to the London Stadium.

Vlasic is a really intelligent, technically gifted player who needs to operate in the number 10 position, or as a number 8 at the very least.

We never got to see the best of the 25-year-old at West Ham because Moyes always shunted him out on the left wing – a position where he is totally ineffective because of his lack of pace.

I strongly feel that David Moyes is the man to blame for Nikola Vlasic’s struggles at West Ham.

If the Scot is open to using the 25-year-old correctly, then there is no reason why he couldn’t still be a big success at the London Stadium.

However, if Torino activates their purchase option within the next 16 days, it will be a moot point because he’ll be playing out in Serie A for the foreseeable future.

Report: West Ham has promised the club they’ll make a bid for £9.5 million midfielder Pablo Maia this summer

West Ham United is reportedly now ready to put a firm bid down on the table for Pablo Maia ahead of the summer transfer window.

São Paulo anuncia renovação de Pablo Maia e fica perto de novo contrato com Luciano | são paulo | ge

According to football journalist André Hernan, Sao Paulo ace Pablo Maia is firmly on West Ham’s radar, and the East London outfit has promised to return with a concrete offer for the 21-year-old after making initial inquiries.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer, with Declan Rice being heavily tipped to leave.

Maia is someone who has been linked with a move to West Ham before.

And it seems as though the Hammers are now ready to make a concrete offer for the talented 21-year-old midfielder…

West Ham promise to make a concrete bid for Pablo Maia

Respected South American journalist André Hernan reckons that the Hammers are ready to try and sign the 21-year-old this summer, but we could face competition from Fulham for his signature.

Sao Paulo allegedly wants around £9.5 million for Pablo Maia (Bolavip Brasil). That seems like really good value to me.

He really is an outstanding young talent and would be a hugely exciting addition to us.

Maia is a defensive midfielder and is extremely tenacious in the tackle. He has stamina, energy, and dynamism in abundance and has really impressive technical ability as well – as you would expect for a Brazilian.

For £9.5 million, I really don’t think West Ham can go wrong by signing Pablo Maia this summer.

However, it must be said that it will be a huge disappointment if the 21-year-old is brought in as a direct replacement for Declan Rice.

Moyes must sign an elite central midfielder to accompany the potential arrival of Maia this summer if we are to make real progress as a club.
