West Ham United are set to be without just one first-team player for their Premier League clash against Leeds United, according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery.

And heading into the encounter against a relegation-threatened Leeds United, West Ham are expected to have a clean bill of health on all of their players except Gianluca Scamacca who has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a knee injury [Premier Injuries].

European preparation

With West Ham United all but securing their Premier League status for next status, some fans may be forgiven for counting this Sunday’s clash as meaningless, especially after confirming their place in the Europa Conference League final for next month.

This may be good news for Leeds United who are desperately fighting for their lives down at the bottom but David Moyes will not allow his men to rest on their laurels as they look to get on some sort of a run to prepare for their European exploits.

Entering June’s final showpiece off the back of a couple of defeats doesn’t make sense whatsoever, and could certainly damage their morale heading into Prague.

Moyes will of course be tempted to ring the changes at the London Stadium on Sunday, but we feel he should stick to putting out a strong side as rhythm, confidence and match fitness will be key heading into their first final since 1976 against Fiorentina.

This may well be unknown territory for West Ham United heading into the final, but they simply cannot afford to be making drastic changes with the most important game of the club’s history over the past 30 years on the horizon. Can’t be doing Leeds United any favours too.
