Deal done and everything settled as Leicester soon will wave goodbye to a monumental player…

The news is that Caglar Soyuncu has settled a deal with Atletico Madrid. His move will happen and the deal agreed will run to 2027.

Caglar Soyuncu: Leicester City defender could be out for three months with injury - BBC Sport

Soyuncu came back in the Leicester line-up under Dean Smith, being left in the cold by Brendan Rodgers, singling out the Turkey international as one not in the correct set of mind to be playing first-team football.

We have all seen that Souyuncu when brought back, gave the team a better defensive solution and stability, but he could have played his last game for the club, as an injury has made him unavailable for the last few weeks.

Soyuncu played a key role in the team during his time at the club and has shown what type of class you need to be part of a run as we did see in previous seasons, getting to a semi-final in Europe and winning the FA Cup.

His tally of league games at Leicester is 98, and in total, including Europe and Cup competitions he is on 132. He is a regular performer for his nation Turkey, as the former Freiburg player is on 53 caps to date.

Earlier reports said he would like to stay at the club, but with no security regarding game time from the previous management team, he never came close to any new agreement.
