Spurs are reportedly ready to pay £25-£30 million for the Japan international forward.

The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Tottenham also wants to hold talks with Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou.

If the Australian eventually becomes the new Tottenham manager, then the North London club’s chances of bringing Kyogo to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would “vastly increase”, according to the report.

The Sun has added that Tottenham is looking at Kyogo as “a partner, cover or even eventual replacement for club talisman Harry Kane”.

Could Tottenham Hotspur sign Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic?

In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur pays £30 million to Celtic for Kyogo Furuhashi, then they will be able to sign the forward.

We do not think that the Hoops will turn down the chance to sell any of their players for £30 million.

That is a lot of money for a club in Scotland, even for the champions of the Scottish Premiership.

And we do not think that Kyogo, 28, himself would turn down the chance to move to Spurs.

After all, Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, which is the biggest domestic league on the planet.

For Celtic this season, Kyogo has scored 27 goals and given two assists in the Scottish Premiership, provided one assist in the UEFA Champions League, scored three goals in the Scottish League Cup, and has found the back of the net four times in the Scottish Cup.
