Report: 28-year-old Leeds player undergoing medical with the new club today
Tyler Roberts has undergone a medical today as the Leeds United forward closes in on sealing a move to Birmingham City.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, which suggests that Leeds is in line to receive £500,000 plus add-ons for the Wales international.
It is not particularly surprising to see Tyler Roberts leave Elland Road in this window. Unfortunately, the writing appeared to be on the wall for the 28-year-old a year ago when he left on loan.

His time with Queens Park Rangers was disrupted by injury. But some may have wondered whether Leeds’ relegation from the top flight would lead to the club looking to give the attacking midfielder one more chance.
But it seems that Roberts will indeed move away. And the Daily Mail reports that he has had his medical with Birmingham today.
Roberts’ departure will probably not be one which is mourned amongst the Leeds fanbase. There was excitement when the club paid a significant sum to sign him from West Brom.
And there were definitely moments to get excited about. His brace against Hull was surely the personal high point. And obviously, he was one of the players who delivered promotion.
There were some very good performances in the Premier League. But he never took that next step and threatened to establish himself in the side on a regular basis.
Ultimately, a move is probably best for all parties. And it has probably felt like a long time coming. But it is always a shame to see another player who was part of that promotion-winning side depart.
