Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly growing in confidence over signing James Maddison.
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing James Maddison from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Tottenham is “growing in confidence that they can land the signing” of England international attacking midfielder Maddison, described as “a talented and intelligent footballer” by former Spurs striker Gary Lineker on Twitter in March 2023.
James Maddison would make Tottenham Hotspur better
In our opinion, Leicester City playmaker James Maddison would make Tottenham Hotspur better.
Maddison is one of the best playmakers around, and we believe that he would fill the gap left by Christian Eriksen.
The Spurs have never really replaced the Dane.
Maddison is 26 now.
The England international’s best years are ahead of him.
The Leicester no. 10 scored 10 goals and gave nine assists in 28 Premier League starts last season.
Maddison has scored 43 goals and given 32 assists in 163 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Leicester will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
A move from the Foxes to the Spurs would be a step up for Maddison, who could be tempted to make the transfer this summer.
