GOOD NEWS: Two Leeds United loanees have returned to the club for pre-season.

Revealed: Two Leeds United big names do not have loan release clauses

Jack Harrison and Wilfried Gnonto do not have a relegation release clause in their Leeds United contracts, sources have told Football Insider.

A host of Leeds stars have clauses in their contracts that allow them to leave on loan following their exit from the top flight but Harrison and Gnonto are two stars that do not.

This means that the club will not be able to cash in on a number of players but in turn, will have them back should they make it back into the Premier League at the first attempt.

Brenden Aaronson is the latest to leave the club on loan joining Bundesliga club Union Berlin, Diego Llorente’s loan spell at Roma has been extended and Robin Koch has joined Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although Leeds may be shackled in selling these players for a big fee it is understood they are still receiving loan fees for their assets, with almost £500,000 gathered for the Robin Koch loan.
