While Tottenham are yet to submit a bid of their own, the Telegraph believe the 23-year-old is more likely to join Spurs than he is West Ham this summer.

There is no explanation for that claim, which is – admittedly – quite surprising.

For a start, Gallagher could play UEFA Europa League football at West Ham, whereas Tottenham – like Chelsea – failed to qualify for any European competition next season.
