great news: ‘Powerful’ Wolves talented star has signed another two-year contract to extend his stay

Powerful’ Wolves talent could leave Molineux late in the transfer window

Wolves striker Nathan Fraser is reportedly being chased by Shrewsbury Town – but the club are prepared to wait before taking a decision on the youngster.

The teenager is one of the biggest prospects at Molineux right now, and has been making an impression in pre-season.

Fraser has been getting minutes under his belt, playing against Vitoria, Farense and the Manchester City academy. He also came on against FC Porto.

Fraser impressed last season with the U21s, scoring seven goals.

And Julen Lopetegui decided that he wanted to take a look at him ahead of the 2023/24 season, along with several other youngsters.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the ‘powerful and direct talent’, given one club are now hoping to sign him for the coming season.

Nathan Fraser wanted by Shrewsbury Town, but Wolves will wait to make decision

According to the Express & Star, Fraser is wanted on loan by League One side Shrewsbury Town.

It is stated that they are pushing to land the teenager.

But at the moment they are meeting resistance.

Wolves are said to be keen to wait before taking a decision on Fraser.

Presumably, the club are going to see what happens with Fabio Silva.

Silva has been linked with an exit from the club. Apparently, Wolves would listen to offers in the £21 million region.

But he could end up staying, with the player having made an impression on Lopetegui.

Luton and Rennes games could be decisive for Fraser

It’s little wonder Shrewsbury really want to sign Fraser. He looks a brilliant prospect.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with him.

Wolves have two games left in pre-season – against Luton Town tomorrow and then Rennes on Saturday.

These are potential opportunities for Fraser to perhaps make a final statement to Lopetegui.

The manager will probably be playing his strongest team, at least to start with.

But it’s possible Fraser could get minutes from the bench. And if he makes an impression then it could be that Wolves turn around an rebuff Shrewsbury because they want to keep him around.
