Ipswich Town sign Leif Davis from Leeds United on permanent deal
Ipswich Town have completed the signing of left-back Leif Davis from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Portman Road after leaving the Premier League side.
A move has accelerated since he returned from Leeds’ pre-season tour of Australia, where he was drafted in as cover following an injury to Junior Firpo.
Davis spent last season on loan with Bournemouth, where he made 15 appearances in all competitions as the Cherries earned promotion back to the top-flight.
“I am delighted to be here,” he told the club website.
“This is the best step for me at this point in my career. I want to play games and help the team in any way I can.
“I’ll always give it my all when I am out on the pitch and I can’t wait to meet the fans at Portman Road.”
