Bologna ask Leicester City for Kristiansen

Bologna have made an approach for Leicester City left-back Victor Kristiansen after securing Dan Ndoye from FC Basel.

The Rossoblu are very active in the final days of the transfer window, especially after coach Thiago Motta publicly complained at his options.

According to Sky Sport Italia, they have asked Leicester City for 20-year-old defender Kristiansen.

While Bologna would prefer it to be a loan with option to buy, the Foxes are seeking some form of obligation or at least a paid loan spell.

He was only signed from FC Copenhagen in January for €14m, but Leicester are forced to reevaluate their transfer strategy following relegation from the Premier League.

Kristiansen had been linked with a Serie A move to Lazio earlier in the summer, but they have now done a deal with Juventus for Luca Pellegrini instead.

He made 14 competitive appearances for Leicester City, contributing one assist since his January arrival.
