Norwich City Confirm Signing of Arsenal’s Marquinhos on Loan

Arsenal have confirmed that 19-year-old winger Marquinhos will be loaned out to Championship side Norwich City for the second half of the season.

Marquinhos joined the Gunners in the summer from Sao Paulo, and he managed to make six appearances and impress in academy play with four goals and two assists.

The £3.5 million signing was expected to be loaned out when he first arrived at Arsenal, as his chances of playing time were limited by the arrival of other players like Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson.

Word has it that he is lodging at Linton Travel Tavern between London and Norwich, right off of the A11.
