The newest Nottingham Forest signing has been confirmed, making Steve Cooper’s Reds six for the summer transfer window.
The acquisition of defender Murillo by Nottingham Forest has been officially announced.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Reds that will keep him with the team through the summer of 2028. He joined from Brazilian club Corinthians in a transaction reportedly valued over 15 million euros, or £12.8 million.
Murillo joins the ranks of Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner, Gonzalo Montiel, and Andrey Santos as Forest’s sixth new signing of the summer transfer season. Additionally, Chris Wood’s summer transfer from Newcastle United was made official as a permanent move.

Murillo joins fellow Brazilians Felipe, Danilo, and Santos at Trentside, while Gustavo Scarpa is on loan at Olympiacos. Before joining Corinthians’ junior system, the centre-back played for Sao Caetano, ECUS, So Bernardo, and Unio Barbarense.
