Glen Kamara, a midfielder from Finland, has officially been acquired by Leeds from Rangers.

The 27-year-old joined Elland Road for an unknown amount and has since signed a four-year contract.

The former Arsenal and Dundee player scored 11 goals in 193 games for Rangers, but he hasn’t started a game since the Light Blues’ defeat to Celtic in the League Cup final in February. This season, he hasn’t even been considered for the first team.

52-cap veteran Kamara joins Leeds as the club’s ninth summer addition. The Sky Bet Championship team has also been linked to a move for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley.

Ilia Gruev, a midfielder for Werder Bremen, was acquired by Leeds earlier in the recruitment process for an undisclosed sum.

The four-year deal brought the international player from Bulgaria to Elland Road.

The most recent Rangers transfer sees a winger “it’s happening”

Although Rangers supporters undoubtedly anticipate a quiet transfer window, there is still one position they would want to see filled.

Luis Palma: Celtic sign Honduras winger from Aris Thessaloniki - BBC Sport

Before the transfer market even began, Luis Palma, who recently joined Celtic, was heavily connected with a move to the better side of Glasgow, but nothing substantial ever happened despite the forward’s assertion that he has a choice.

However, according to a report by The 4th Official, Rangers are still hunting for a winger and the elusive Ryan Kent replacement transfer.

No names have been given, but in a teaser, they assert:

“Unfortunately, despite being told for a while that it is happening, I have not heard anything new on wingers. Let’s see what happens tomorrow, September 1st.”

The winger for Rangers’ final request in the summer transfer window

In addition to Kent leaving, Fashion Sakala has also left, and Michael Beale has discovered the hard way that effective attacking teams still require speed and the capacity to defeat opponents one-on-one.

We may have played our greatest football when Rabbi Matondo and Abdallah Sima were on the field together, and the Gers manager has practically been overcomplicating things.

The Rangers need a player who can contribute right away and who certainly rises to the top of the team roster.

With Danilo, we had hoped to acquire that, but for some reason, Beale has been reluctant to play him from the beginning, preferring Cyriel Dessers.

Rangers has to make some tactical adjustments, and widening the assault would be a nice place to start. A last-minute transfer on the deadline day would also be beneficial.

Beale may have had a successful start to the transfer window, but he needs to have a strong finish as well.
