Leeds United are ‘locked in talks’ over a £4 million move for a Serie A star player – Report

Leeds United and a Serie A star are ‘locked in talks’ over a £4 million deal, despite Luis Sinisterra’s uncertain future.
According to reports, Leeds United and Roma are in negotiations over winger Ola Solbakken.

The Norwegian international is the subject of negotiations for a £4 million sale, according to Mail Online.

According to the article, Olympiacos of Greece is also reportedly interested in Solbakken.

Only a few hours remain in the transfer window, and some of Leeds United’s most desired players are still up in the air.

Daniel Farke, the manager of the Whites, is optimistic in keeping Luis Sinisterra, Wilfried Gnonto, and Crysencio Summerville, all of whom have recently been linked with transfers.

Burnley is thought to have made a proposal for Summerville, Everton is rumored to have resumed negotiations for Gnonto, and AFC Bournemouth is apparently interested in Sinisterra.

Farke, though, has not made any mention of any leaving.

I’m pretty sure [they’ll stay], he remarked. Although there is no way to guarantee anything in this company, we have gone eight weeks without a hitch.

“When you compare our current condition with the squad’s status from eight weeks ago, I believe we are in a really strong position, and I am confident we will make it through the next eight hours.

“In this game of football, there is no such thing as a 100 percent guarantee; a crazy offer from Saudi Arabia could come in.”

Solbakken can be seen as an insurance policy if the Whites’ resolve is put to the test given Farke’s unwillingness to provide a retention guarantee.
