Postecoglou will have his most difficult test yet on Sunday, as Tottenham travel to the Emirates to play Arsenal in the iconic north London derby.
Speaking ahead of the intriguing match, the 58-year-old told Gary Lineker that he had always wanted to be a football manager and that he was inspired by one of England’s best teams.
“Liverpool in the ’70s, when they played the whole possession stuff and really played football, it was a bit different, and it always attracted me down that road,” Postecoglou remarked. That obviously had an impact on me.”
